Sound of video really low

The sound of every video is very low, and this issue doesn't happen in any other media gallery such as Google Photos, Simple Gallery, or Gallery - Google.

I have to put my volume at maximum to hear anything.

Otherwise, great job with this app! Thanks for all the work!

I just tried screen recording directly, but in the output capture, there is no sound issue (at least when I don't play the capture itself in Aves).
Weird...

Then I used the old method, filming my phone with another phone maybe not the best but the only way I found 🤣 and here you can hear some sound level difference between the two apps. The two videos were recorded with the same sound level output.

Sorry i wasn't clear about the sample video: i didn't mean a screen recording but a sample video that you play which sound is lower. Even if this happens with all your videos, having a sample video as a reference is useful.

Note to self:

• issue still in Aves v1.11.17
• my impression is that sound in Aves is not (only) lower but missing bass
• MPV and Google Photos have similar "full" sound
• in MPV it takes a couple of seconds for the sound to reach its full "breadth" (e.g. after pause, seek, play)

I don't know if that might help you, but:
Based on my observation Aves plays mono sound all of the time, even if the video by itself has the stereo sound

@plneappl thanks! Switching the audio device from OpenSL ES (the default) to AudioTrack improves the sound quality.
