I'm finding that having uploaded 50+ or so files, managing / organising or adding new files is unwieldy as I have to scroll all of the way through the media uploaded to find or replace any images that may need maintenance or updating.
It could be useful to be able to filter or parse this media when searching for files that are hosted.
Would it be possible to add some sort of "Metadata" tagging when a file is uploaded so it could be filtered by simply search parameters? so user defined tags that consist of "categories", like a rudimentary asset management application.

Our Agency have looked at this - https://www.netlifycms.org/docs/beta-features/#folder-collections-media-and-public-folder solution but they told me it isn't fully supported by Hugo, which we are using on our site.
thanks
