Yeah that's radiator data. It's room temperature vs the programmed temp and the red lines are when the system starts pre-heating. I looked into the defaults, I cleaned it up some more now. But a few issues (perhaps for you to fix? ;-)

If I want to display a climate entity exact the same way as it does in the default graph with heading and cooling events colored orange and blue respectively under the current_temperature from the hvac_action attribute how would I do that? Starting out with something like this I am only getting vertical lines at the heating periods, the temp is not being plotted and I am not sure how I would set a color filled per map_y |

Hi, I don't know if this topic is alive or not but I'm trying anyway: I want to get the same effect as the previous post: Something similar to the HA climate graphic with the temperature setpoint line (climate.salon::temperature) filled when the heating is active. In my case that is detected by the valve state sensor.salon_calefaccion that is a float. something similar to this: 
This is my code: The conditional filling is only implemented in the first graph. It seems that the conditional filling is not working: 
Does the fillcolor attribute accept conditional expression? Is there any way to do it work? Thanks |

Thank for the response. I've trying what you suggested but I cannot make the code work. I took as example your code for calculating the dew point as starting point and modify it with my variables, and it works: As you can see I'm multiplying the value of the current temperature by the percentaje of the heating valve, because it's what was done in the example. However, I don't know how to include the if condition in the code. Do you have any example of using an internal variable as condition? Sorry for the noob question |

Hi - this is exactly what i'd like to do, except my version of "sensor.salon_calefaccion" is recorded not as a percentage, but as a heating state (i.e sensor.garage_1_thermostat_state can be "heating" "idle" or "Fan" If I'm understanding the above correctly, you are storing a percentage value as an internal variable, then based on the value of the percentage, selecting from one of two 'filltozeroy' colour schemes. Is there a way to modify the parsing from a percentage to something like 'idle = 0, heating = 1, fan = 2'? then I could use your same code to select a fill colour based on that data stream. Here is my current YAML with my current graph

no worries! Just make sure to google first :) Opacity should work fine, but you can alternatively set the line color with transparency like this |
