OTLP HTTP/JSON support

OTLP endpoints
OpenTelemetry defines three protocol flavors: gRPC, and HTTP with either protobuf or JSON encoding. Seq implements the first two of these; HTTP/JSON is not yet available.

Is HTTP/JSON support on the roadmap?

Hi Ryan, thanks for the note!

We haven't seen much demand for it, since the major client libraries seem to support the much faster protobuf-based formats - I'm guessing we're missing a scenario. What kind of data source do you need to send OTLP HTTP/JSON from? Thanks!

I have been playing around with Cloudflare Workers. You can export OTel data to destinations, but it looks like they only support HTTP/JSON. There are several providers listed here: https://developers.cloudflare.com/workers/observability/exporting-opentelemetry-data - It would be cool to see Seq in that list! 😎
