geodatafusion Release Timeline

As mentioned in geoarrow/geoarrow-rs#1317, after the release of DataFusion 50, the first release version of geodatafusion will be published. Would love to know whether there’s a target release date? cc @kylebarron

After the datafusion meetup, I've been at conferences the last two weeks, and then have been swamped this week trying to catch up.

I'd love to get a release out tomorrow with the current state of the repo; I just have to also publish a new version of geoarrow-rs crates in order to publish a version of geodatafusion

I think at a minimum tomorrow I'll publish a new beta version of all the geoarrow crates, which lets me publish a new beta version to crates.io for geodatafusion

I didn't quite get to it yet today; in publishing the beta in geoarrow/geoarrow-rs#1355 I realized I need to bump the version of pyo3-arrow, which had been using a git dependency, which means the python bindings need to update to pyo3 0.26.

I published all the versions from that branch but need to run for the evening. On monday I can publish at least a beta version here

I published https://crates.io/crates/geodatafusion/0.1.0-beta.2; I'd like to get a new geoarrow-rs release out soon, and then we can publish an 0.1.0 here

Published 0.1 and looking forward to iterating more features soon. For the most part I don't think we'll need to make any breaking changes
