I've seen many accounts of the PyData ecosystem starting to roll their accounts on Mastodon.
In twitter there is an internal chat with most of the folks that manage these accounts, and there is a group coordination to create a server for project-accounts only in Mastodon. (Yuvi is helping setting this up)
I do not know who has access to the dask twitter credentials, I know there are few people (@mrocklin, @jacobtomlinson, @jrbourbeau), but we should probably join the effort.
Thoughts?

I'm very +1 on this. I've been on mastodon for a while and it seems like a useful and different crowd to Twitter. There is a tool you can use to just automatically sync your tweets over to Mastodon so you can set it up and then just continue mostly as normal with tweeting.
Some servers (like Fosstodon which I'm on) expect you to also engage directly on mastodon by liking/boosting others and commenting but there may be others that don't (I'm not sure we respond to comments on Twitter either).
