State the model
XiaoMi-Pro MX150, KBL
DVMT is set to 64MB, and I've also installed a broadcom native wifi and bluetooth card.

State the version of the EFI

  • 1.7.3 with some custom changes

Describe the bug
WindowServer has a higher than normal CPU usage, and this makes it so that animations (or even playing video) sometimes lag or stutter. This mostly happens when the computer is connected to a high resolution monitor or high refresh rate one (e.g. 1440p 60Hz or 1080p 144Hz).
I had this happen for a very long time, I remember it happening even when Catalina was the latest version, and the problem never went away.
