How to contribute to Trans

Did you find a bug?

If you want to report a bug in Trans take a look among the open issues to see if it has been already reported.

If the bug has been already reported, post a comment and add as much information as you can. Any relevant information can be helpful for fixing the bug.

If the bug has not been reported yet, open a new issue. Be sure to include a title and clear description, as much relevant information as possible, and a code sample or an executable test case demonstrating the expected behavior that is not occurring.

Did you write a patch that fixes a bug?

First of all, thank you very much for contributing ❤️.

If you have written a patch that fixes a bug in Trans, open a new pull request with the patch. It is important that the pull request description clearly describes the problem and solution. You can also link to the relevant issue if there is one.

The same process applies for contributions related to Trans documentation.
