Since Kubernetes 1.18, a mechanism was introduced to reduce the stress on individual api-server instances, such that requests would be retried and routed to other instances, see this PR.
At the moment, there seems to be no handling of this type of error internally within the zio-k8s-client, causing the following errors to appear:
