Update

Good afternoon! I am tteckster's wife. I don't have a clue if anyone will even see this because I'm not the computer savvy person that my husband was, but I wanted to try. I know that he posted an update regarding his health the other week, and I wanted to let you all know that he passed away a few days ago. If anyone sees this, maybe you could make a better post. This is Angie, and to say I am overwhelmed by all the comments, thoughts, love, prayers, and condolences is an understatement. As well as the donations. My husband loved this site, and he was passionate about computers, coding, and all the stuff that goes with it. He showed me a lot of the comments that were made when he posted about his cancer and it made him smile. Thank you all for the love and support that you have shown to him, and now me.
He would be amazed that I even found his sight and was able to make a post. Thank you all again, it warms my heart that he touched so many lives.*

I have a great amount of respect and admiration for the work by tteck - despite never meeting him.

I was devastated to hear the news and my prayers and thoughts go out to Angie and the family at this time.

Indeed, I just found out about your husband's passing. For people here that knew your husband very well, I am sure they miss him very greatly on a multitude of levels (I did not know him that well). But there is no doubt whatsoever that his creativity will remain persistently useful to a great many individuals and businesses for a very long time.

Moreover, it is worthy of notation that unlike an artist that creates a painting, sculpture, piece of music, a poem, etc... their artwork is appreciated on a very infrequent basis. However, your husband's creativity has been and will continue to be appreciated by people and businesses every single day, day after day after day on a worldwide basis. When you think of his open source programming through such a lens it becomes abundantly clear what a large number of people benefit from his creative sharing and intellect as well as those that will in the future.
