During Wikimedia Tech Safari, an attendee suggested to show contributors around you (it might have been Commons Android app contributors in particular, not sure).

There are obviously privacy/creepiness questions to consider, but if anyone has good ideas of how it could work, feel free to share your design below. :-)

Hey @nicolas-raoul, Here's the suggested design from my side. Looking for suggestions 🙌

Frame 43

⚠️ I considered using a map to display the locations of other contributors. However, since location data is sensitive and no one wants others to misuse the app, as it could potentially open doors to unethical activities, I decided against using a map to represent the locations. Instead, using indicator would be a better option.

You are good at making Uis. It is nice for a new feature :)
Which tool do you use for UI designs?

Please note that this is labeled "low priority", which means it is unlikely to get merged as we don't have many reviewers currently. Thank you for your understanding :-)
