What do you think the inclusion following packages in gem:

https://github.com/thedersen/backbone.validation
https://github.com/PaulUithol/Backbone-relational

They are needed in almost every application.
Perhaps there is some other extensions for Backbone applying for inclusion in the basic package?

There is also a wonderful package https://github.com/theironcook/Backbone.ModelBinder
It is worth considering in the context of this issue.
