Guidance on the cost/number of changefeeds

Hi, based on the documentation it looks like enabling rangefeed can impact the performance of a CockroachDB cluster.
However it is not clear for me if there is any/significant additional cost per a changefeed.

In particular, I'm wondering if it it practical to run many changefeed jobs.

What would you say if I was considering running say 5/50/500/5000 of changefeed jobs?
Is 500 way too much?
Is 50 a maximum number I could have?

I came across #85010 which should eventually answer my questions.
However, given that the issue is still open I was wondering if anybody could share some estimates/predictions.
