Point-based gluing sometimes works fine, sometimes gives a very wrong result. It appears that when it fails, the resulting alignment is rotated 180 degrees (haven't checked exactly). I don't know if in those cases I rotate the view in a way that confuses the algorithm (should not matter). I used only 3 point pairs, enough for the kind of approximation I needed.
I'm aligning point clouds using point-cloud gluing, and 2022.02 seems to be giving random results, whereas 2021.10 works fine.
I'm on macOS 10.15 (Intel mac)
Has anyone else noticed the same?
Can someone else test 2022.02 on macOS, and maybe other platforms?
I'll be using 2021.10 in the meantime.
