XCA for document and code signing

Hi. I'm looking for information on how, if possible, XCA can be used to sign documents or code. I have seen something in the attributes that mention code sign but i don't know how to implement it. I already have a CA and and Sub for web sites certificates, but for code sign do I have to create a new CA? Is there any tutorial on this? Thanks in advance.
