Removing Featured Posts and Recent Posts

Is there any way to remove the Featured Posts and Recent Posts from the sidebar? I don't want these.

Easiest way would be to delete these lines from layouts/partials/sidebar.html :

Update: Make sure to copy themes/hugo-clarity/layouts/partials/sidebar.html to layouts/partials/sidebar.html and edit the copy.
