Release package archive structure changed in 1.2.2

Hi. I see the archive package structure changed in 1.2.2.

Since the release, the archive contains the additional directory with all the distribution files.

Is the change made by design and permanent since 1.2.2 or a mistake?

I'm asking because I'm a maintainer of the mods manifest for scoop installer. The manifest is broken after the package structure changes (no worries, I fixed it in ScoopInstaller/Main#5636). The question is what we can expect in future releases in that matter.
