Login Page With 2FA

I would like to send the user a sort of OTP over email to be verified then to enter the login credentials , so am wondering if I can set my own login page then redirect to myrtille or if it can be handled in a different concept, and is this possible directly or I still need to touch the source code and rebuild it?
I saw in web.config something called login enabled and login URL but I could not find any documentation for them.
