Netbox Exporter

Netbox Exporter is an Ansible collection that bridges the source of truth (Netbox) and Arista Validation Deploy (AVD).
It enables the creation of a dedicated VXLAN-EVPN Ethernet RoCE v2 fabric for supercomputers.
With Netbox Exporter, you can generate the full Ansible inventory for AVD. Currently, only homogeneous factories are supported (same leaves, same spines).

  • Key Features:
    • Deployment of Ethernet RoCE v2 settings (pause-frame, ECN, etc.).
    • Deployment of simple L2VPNs of type VXLAN.
    • Deployment of L2VPNs with dedicated VRF.
    • Deployment of L2VPNs with ECMP.
  • Technical documentation
  • Netbox configuration

Requirements

  • Netbox 4.1.11 or later.
  • Arista Architect, Validate, Deploy 5.5.1 or later.
  • Red Hat Family 8 or later.
  • Python 3.12 or later.
