2.0 Library Interface changes tracking

This ticket aims to track library API '''changes''' expected for version '''2.0'''. This new major release is now NOT expected to break 1.x compatibility.

Hopefully this ticket will help to write a 1.x -> 2.x improvements documentation.

One of the expected change is the way parameters are passed to event handlers:

    def ev_read(self, worker):
        """Called to indicate that a worker has data to read."""

As of 1.x, we have to call last_read() which returns a simple message, or a (node, msg) tuple, depending on local or distant worker.

On version 2, each callback will have a specific list of arguments, possibly set to None if not used:

    def ev_read(self, worker, key, data):
        """Called to indicate that a worker has data to read."""

or

    def ev_read(self, worker, node, message):
        """Called to indicate that a worker has data to read."""

[ad-cea] Task should do less wrapping of data results, but rather exposed results through objects.

• task.buffers() returns a MsgTree (_msgtree)
• task.errors() returns a MsgTree (_errtree)
• task.timeouts() returns a set (or a NodeSet)
• task.retcodes() returns an object to be defined

Exposed objects, do not add never-ending wrappers.
