MakeItShort - URL Shortener

MakeItShort is a simple URL shortener API built with Java Spring Boot and MongoDB. It allows users to shorten long URLs into concise and easily shareable links.

Getting Started

Prerequisites

Installation

1. Clone the repository:

Usage

1. Register a new account or log in to an existing account.

2. On the dashboard, enter a long URL that you want to shorten.

3. Click the "Shorten" button to generate a shortened URL.

4. Copy the shortened URL and share it with others.

5. Users can access the shortened URL, which will redirect them to the original long URL.

6. Visit the analytics section to view the number of clicks and other statistics for each shortened link.
