We already have the X vs Y charts but they currently are limited to clinical attributes. An idea for the interface could be the following:
When selecting multiple and clicking add chart it could add a violin chart
Other thoughts:
by default we could always add this chart if we detect a generic assay with numeric data and e.g. less than 100 elements (this would work for cell types and mutational signatures)
the selection should be per row rather than across all cell types, begging the question whether this way of representing the data is ideal
