What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Start the program
2. Set the refresh interval to 5 minutes
3. Wait for a month or so

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The log file becomes very large with redundant information.
There should be a configuration option to disable or minimize logging.

Please use labels and text to provide additional information.
