After uninstalling Brave, which is my default browser, a popup displayed in the taskbar and when clicked, OS default browser selection modal is shown Chromium/waiting upstream Issue is in Chromium; we'll likely wait for the fix OS/Desktop OS/Windows priority/P5 Not scheduled.
