Description

brave://settings/safetyCheck is showing the wrong version, which is confusing.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Open brave://settings/safetyCheck
  2. Click Check now
  3. Compare with the version in brave://settings/help

Actual result:

Expected result:

It should show the latest available/published Brave version. Not a Chromium version.

Reproduces how often:

Always

Brave version (brave://version info)

Brave	1.25.60 Chromium: 90.0.4430.212 (Official Build) beta (64-bit)
Revision	e3cd97fc771b893b7fd1879196d1215b622c2bed-refs/branch-heads/4430@{#1429}

I'm not seeing version being displayed any more in Safety check, Updates, only status text, e.g. Brave is up to date.
Still a valid issue or is version coming through a different way?
