Description: The partial least squares (PLS) software that was developed by Dr. Randy McIntosh and colleagues at the Rotman Research Institute at Baycrest is currently implemented in Matlab. The aim of this project is to convert the PLS functions to Python. The core PLS functions have already been converted to Python; thus, during the Toronto Brainhack, we will work on converting the other functions to Python and writing additional scripts and tutorials to teach the neuroscience community how to use PLS and visualize their results.
