Can we please get a built-in updater added to Brackets? Very tedious having to go to the website and install manually every time a new update is added.

👍 I also wondered if this was done by design ? Atleast the minor version upgrades can be built-in ?

It was mostly not done as auto-update was not designed 🙈
+1 for auto updates.
Marking as needs review.

issues tagged as needs review are brought up in planning meetings to get opinions from the core team. This is usually done when the feature requires significant engineering effort to do/ high impact changes/conflicts with existing feature/infrastructure in place.
This ticks all of them i guess ;)
