Running through slime creates empty window

As said in the title, I am unable to run the example through swank. Running it through a repl on a terminal works fine, as does running it inside the built in repl forwarding in emacs.

This isn't a total deal breaker, but slime does make writing code in common lisp quite a bit nicer, so it'd be excellent if this could be fixed :)

Is there anything weird in *inferior-lisp* buffer? What OS/Lisp Implementation+Version are you running example with?

Rerunning it as before works fine, so, very strange.
