 _[Excerpt] The Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at Colorado College invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level to begin in August of 2022.  We encourage candidates from all areas of computer science to apply.  We seek a computer scientist with broad teaching interests who can teach introductory as well as advanced computer science courses to a diverse community of undergraduate students and mentor computer science majors who are completing a capstone experience.  All candidates should be able to teach our introductory sequence, currently taught in Java, and a variety of advanced computer science courses including a CS elective in their primary field of study.  The successful candidate should also be able to develop and maintain a rigorous research program that can engage undergraduate students.  Mentoring and advising students interested in computer science both at the introductory and more senior level is expected.  Finally, the successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the department and the college through service._
