Describe the bug
Uploading an image in the webp format will have it be converted into jpg automatically, this results in a loss of quality while simultaneously increasing the file size by upwards of 600%, depending on the size of the original image.
To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
Upload webp format image as part of a post or reply
Download posted image from bluesky
Compare size of downloaded image to original
Expected behavior
Webp images should be exempt from the conversion, they take the same (or less) amount of space while providing far better quality than jpg.
Details
Platform: Desktop/Chrome/Windows, though this is applicable to all platforms
Platform version: Windows 11
App version: 1.68.0
