Why were most domains removed from the gambling list?

I noticed recently that most of the domains in the gambling list have been removed. Here is the entire list as of right now:

• casinos-en-ligne-belge.com
• cb-128943.com
• fezbet4.com
• odds.am
• pokerstars-01.com
• sportfogadas.org
• sportfogadás.com
• tippmix.hu
• tippmixpro.hu
• unibet-112.com

There used to be many more active gambling domains on this list. In particular, fanduel.com used to be on this list and it is definitely still active and definitely a gambling site.

I was having trouble looking through the commit history on GitHub directly because some of the commits have a very large number of changes. Using githistory.xyz I am pretty sure I found a commits where all sites were removed from the gambling list.

  • This version has no domains on the list

One of those commits was to "remove dead domains." I'm sure there were many dead domains in that original long list, but I don't think deleting the entire list makes sense.

Would it be possible to check that long list for active domains and just add the active ones back in?

It appears that those domains that were removed were added back in with the commit 4c17c3d
