mev-relay-proxy
allows validators to connect to mev boost relay via grpc.
mev-relay-proxy
server proto files are defined as part of github.com/bloXroute-Labs/relay-grpc
mev-relay-proxy
can run in any machine, as long as it is reachable by the validator client. The default port is 18550. The most common setup is to install it in the same machine as the validator client.
Install the dependencies:
- Install Go 1.20
- Install build dependencies (in Ubuntu):
sudo apt install make gcc
make build
This guide provides instructions on how to run the mev-relay-proxy
as Docker container.
a
- Docker installed on your machine.
docker stop mev-relay-proxy
docker rm mev-relay-proxy
docker run --name=mev-relay-proxy \
--hostname=0ba39b5ff5c5 \
--workdir=/app \
-p 18550:18550 \
--restart=no \
--runtime=runc \
--detach=true \
bloxroute/mev-relay-proxy:v0.0.1 \
--addr 0.0.0.0:18551 \
--relay {RELAY_IP:PORT}
- Replace RELAY_IP:PORT with the desired relay address.
- The MEV Relay Proxy should now be running and accessible at http://localhost:18551.
- connect to mev relay proxy by configuring the relay proxy ip using
--relay
flag in mev boost
