how to search for a link in an attribute?

Say I have a note that looks like this:

up:: [[exercise log]]

And I want to make a query in "exercise log" that includes all the things with that attribute. How do I do that? I've tried a bunch of ways with [[#]] or WHERE up = "[[exercise log]]" clauses without being able to find anything that works.
