Steps To Reproduce

Login, trigger MFA double auth, use alternative (I have my yubikey not always handy), select email

I always receive 2 emails with an security code of which only the second one works.

Expected Result

only receive 1 MFA email, but with a working code

Actual Result

I always receive 2 emails with an security code of which only the second one works.

Thank you for this report. Do you encounter this only when you pop the extension out to get the 6-digit TOTP code?

That's how I do it usually, using the FF plugin. Can't say if it also happens elsewhere.
