Frankfurt Casserole

Serves: 6

Time: 15 min prep + 20 min cook

Ingredients

  • 375g packet of Pommes Noisettes
  • 30g marg/butter
  • 2 Tbl plain flour
  • 425g tomato juice (We used diced tomato, alternate sauces might also be good)
  • 500g chunk frozen veg (We didn't defrest these but it might be better)
  • 1 sachet beef cup-a-soup (2 sachets might be better?)
  • 1/2 cup water (we ended up with 1 cup due to the frozen veg)
  • 500g frankfurts, sliced

Method

  1. Slice frankfurts. Preheat oven to 230 degrees. Defrost veg? Prepare noisettes on baking tray with baking paper (Maybe sprinkle chippy/chicken salt over)
  2. Melt butter, add flour.
  3. Add tomato juice, vegetables, soup mix, water, frankfurts. Bring to boil, then simmer for 20 min.
  4. Pop in the Noisettes as these take ~15 mins as per packet instructions.
  5. Mix noisettes in to sauce veg mix.
