Serves: 6
Time: 15 min prep + 20 min cook
- 90g butter
- 4 chicken breast fillets (500g?)
- 1 1/2 Tbl plain flour
- 2 cups milk
- 1/2 cup cream (300ml is plenty)
- 1 cup grated cheese
- 500g sliced mushrooms
- Cut chicken into nice strips.
- Melt butter in frying pan.
- Brown chicken.
- Remove chicken and keep warm.
- Add flour to pan with left over butter and chicken juice. Stir ~1 min.
- Add milk, cream, cheese. Stir till cheese melts and sauce thickens.
- Add mushrooms, cook for ~5 min.
- Add chicken back to pan and serve.
