Release 1.4.0
This is release 1.4.0 of the IceWM carry-on fork. It contains nearly 500 commits since the previous 1.3.12 release of December 2015. It has soaked for a month or so. There are still some outstanding issues; however, some have been addressed. The primary changes for this release are a large number of bug fixes, memory leak fixes, code quality improvements, various minor new features and a few portability fixes. There is a new up-to-date extensive manual page. Six old themes have been replaced with three new themes (CrystalBlue, Helix, NanoBlue). There are many updated translations and some new ones. Release icewm-1.3.12
This is the latest release of the icewm carry-on fork. This is a stable maintenance release and all code changes have soaked for a month or so. There are still some outstanding issues; however, some have been addressed. The primary changes for this release are a lot of translations updates thanks to the OpenSUSE Weblate tool. See the NEWS and ChangeLog files in the release for details. Included in this release are updated translations for a good number of languages. This is the latest release of the icewm carry-on fork. This is a stable maintenance release and has soaked for a couple of months without further issues. There are still some outstanding issues with this release; however, a number of issues have been addressed since the last release. See the NEWS and ChangeLog files in the release for details. Included in this release is improvements to both the cmake and autoconf build systems. See INSTALL for autoconf build and INSTALL.cmakebuild in the release for instructions. A number of corrections were made, although no major enhancements are included in this release. This carry-on fork is getting popular. I hope you enjoy.
Release icewm-1.3.10
This is the latest release of the icewm carryon fork. This is a stable release and has soaked for several mothns without any issues. See the NEWS file in the release for details. Included in this release is a complete cmake build system in parallel to an autoconf build system (see INSTALL.cmakebuild in the release). Many other enhancements and features were added by @Code7R and a growing number of other contributors. More enhancements are on the horizon. This carryon fork has been picked up by a number of the more significant distributions (distrowatch top 10 list). I hope you enjoy.
