How to format a python request?

Hi,
thank you for the great work. I got client and API running pretty straight forward. Registering the landline via API works great, registering the API as a new device did not go through. It is listed in my phone, but send is not working. But never mind.
Maybe this is a bit of a noob question, but I will ask it anyway. I want to use the API send command within a python script, that is used to surveil the alarms of some lab equipment. I am not very familiar with REST API and python request and I am struggling how to format the command. Maybe someone can help me out? That would be great.

Never mind. I found a webpage explaining it, so that even I could get it ;-)
