• Fanshawe College project to educate college students by displaying metrics indicating the number of carbon emissions reduced, fossil fuel consumption reduced through the solar panels installed at college. • Values from the PLCs are fetched over the college network using the MODBUS protocol. Using Raspberry-Pi the values fetched from the PLC’s are converted to user understandable metrics and displayed. • Hardware & Software: Raspberry-Pi, Red lion PLC, Raspbian-OS, Crimson software, and Modbus Protocol.
