It will be a bit like nixOS without the new programming language since it only needs to replace some Omarchy defaults. |

There are dedicated tools for this, I'll see to open a new discussion thread about it. Regarding your analogy to LazyVim, it doesn't seem to fit, as the plugin manager has many files that go into it, and it is just one program out of many in the whole OS. |

It will make the config changes a lot easier.
Not just the config changed in files; it could also be the config changed in the TUI and GUI.
One file will contain your monitor settings, theme, installed apps, webapps, key mappings, etc, just like the Gemfile.
Unless you are a heavy user who requires a long list of dotfiles, one or two config files to change a few default Omarchy settings will be enough for most users. It will be like the LazyVim, which only needs one setting file to override the defaults.
