Run the SOCI push within a container?

Hi! We use ephemeral kubernetes pods to run our container image builds. We use Kaniko for this.

Forgive me if this is a fundamental question, but is there a way I can push the SOCI indexes using this pattern from within a container? From what I know we can't run containerd within a container so I'm assuming there's no current way?
