Summary
This PR fixes a bug where the
correlation_idfield was missing for log4j2 backend and logback elastic common schema backend.Since
correlation_idis a reserved field throughPowertoolsLoggedFieldsit was ignored from the MDC. We had to add a custom resolver for correlation IDs.I added unit tests assertion that the correlation is there in all cases for all logging backend configurations.
