Summary
This PR updates Mockito to the newest version 5.20.0. We had to temporarily use 5.19.0-SNAPSHOT due to a bug with GraalVM support in native tests. I sent a PR in mockito to fix this which was now released in 5.20.0: mockito/mockito#3709
... also removes some old
TODOcomments that I don't understand or are not applicable and fixes PMD findings.Changes
