I updated my caibre to6.11 and using dedrm tool 7.21. When I dl by wifi the book to my kindle voyage and try to add to calibre, it show up as a kfx zip file. I only have trouble when I have to load over wifi to my kindle. I don't have problems if I download by usb. I have installed KFX Input and Output plug ins. What am I doing wrong? Here is the debug:

First, for calibre 6, you need DeDRM 10.0.3: https://github.com/noDRM/DeDRM_tools/releases/tag/v10.0.3

Second, the book downloaded directly to your Voyage has DRM that cannot be removed. You'll need to use download & transfer via usb from the website or one of the other methods for obtaining files you can decrypt: https://www.mobileread.com/forums/showthread.php?t=283371

I think I signed up for the wrong part of github.I am not a coder but I just wanted to make a comment on this post. Some of my books from kindle unlimited are not transferable. Is there any way to get around that? I am editing to add that if I don't have kindle 1.39 the books won't download so can't backup on that.

For KU books published after Jan 3, download directly to an old Kindle which doesn't support KFX. But who knows how long that will last. Best thing to do is read them in a Kindle app/device because authors get paid by how much you read. Or buy the book.
