Hi there 👋

I'm Anders, I spend a lot of time working on Open Source code hosted here at GitHub. Primarily I work on ojAlgo. That's a Java library for linear algebra and mathematical optimisation, as well as other maths, ML or data science related stuff.

My background/eduction is in relatively maths heavy engineering. Signed up to do a Master in naval architecture. Did that, but shifted towards systems engineering, operations reasearch, and a bit of finance/ecomomics. That's mathematical systems – not computer systems. Didn't do much computer science at all at engineering school, but my entire professional career I've worked as a developer.

I've been doing Java development since it became popular late last millenia. Used to be a full stack developer in every sense. Now I'm focused on backend Java, and often work on tools and libraries for other developers to use.

For many years now I've made a livng as an independant contractor. If you're interested, perhaps I could join your team. I live in Stockholm but am used to working remotely.
