Airflow Improvement Proposals (AIP) documented in Airflow Improvement Proposals

Several of those proposals are managed in Github Issues/Projects/Wiki:

Our projects

In addition to developing the Apache Airflow application itself, we are also developing other tools that work with it. It may have a different or identical release cadence to Apache Airflow. Some of them have not yet had their first official release.

• Production Docker image - released together with Airflow
• Official Airflow Community Helm Chart - released on separate cadence
• Apache Airflow Providers - released on roughly monthly cadence
• Apache Airflow Client Python - python client for Airflow REST API

Refactoring and cleanups

• Improving airflow's test coverage: Improve Code Coverage for Airflow #35127
• Adding tests for modules that are missing them: Add missing test modules in our unit test suite #35442

Cleaning up various non-production related issues after 2.0 has been released. That includes stabilizing Quarantined issues, cleaning up the release and dev tools documentation improving contribution documentation, etc.
