PairPro: Real-Time Collaborative IDE for Interviews

PairPro is a real-time collaborative IDE designed to streamline technical interviews by enabling seamless code collaboration between interviewers and candidates. Built with Docker, WebSockets, and Pistion API, it supports 10+ programming languages and integrates the Monaco Code Editor for a feature-rich coding experience. Additionally, Nodemailer is used for email notifications to enhance user engagement.

Installation

  1. Clone the repository:

    git clone https://github.com/ankit0511/CoderLive.git
    
  2. Navigate to the project directory: cd frontend

  3. Install dependencies: npm i

  4. Set up environment variables: Create a .env file and add the following:
    EMAIL_USER=your-email@example.com EMAIL_PASS=your-email-password

  5. Access the application at http://localhost:5173.

Usage

  1. For Interviewers: Create a new coding session and share the session link with the candidate. Email notifications are sent automatically.
  2. For Candidates: Join the session using the shared link and start coding in real-time.
