Open to MCP Configuration?

Curious if @alvinunreal if open to the idea of adding MCP client support to this project. I really like the level of abstraction with tmux AI, but it would really benefit from being able to do tool calling against things like web search. Would you be open to a pull request?

Thought about it, but still not sure if MCP is really useful for TmuxAI - for this extra contexts reasons went more static way and added knowledge base feature. I would personally prefer having documentation in knowledgebases rather than web search via MCP - never works well for me.
What is your use case?

I feel like it would be over-engineered to add mcp to tmuxai. What I love about tmuxai is its simplicity and efficiency. I mean, if the LLM needs a web search, it could actually use lynx or duckduckgo's CLI, etc., right?

MCP causes major token bloat too, if the agent has shell access why restrict it to an MCP server's toolset? If you really need you could just give it access to an MCP CLi client?
