colored hyperlinks in distill posts

I find it problematic that out of the box the hyperlinks in distill posts show as black underlined text (other blogposts seem fine). Thus the reader may not notice (especially if they are using their phone) that these are clickable hyperlinks. I tried to modify the styles in _distill.scss but it didn't help. The only way to make text colored in hyperlinks that I found up until now is to put the style into href itself directly in the text, which is awkward. How can we properly modify the style of hyperlinks in distill pages?
