When I try to type in Reem Kufi in Word, the text is not be displayed in Reem Kufi but instead it uses Arial automatically.

I am having the same issue with Word on Windows 10. Trying to set an Arabic phrase to Reem Kufi defaults to Arial. Strangely, Reem Kufi seems to work with English.
There are no error messages.

Which version of the font are you installing and what is the file name of the font?

The file name is ReemKufi.otf (downloaded from here: https://github.com/aliftype/reem-kufi/tree/main/fonts). I couldn't find a version number except in the screenshot.

Download the latest version from https://github.com/aliftype/reem-kufi/releases.
